Transport Equipment - Pallet Jacks

Pallet Jacks are commonly used in warehouses, they are generally inexpensive to acquire and are easy to maintain and use. One of the limitations of pallet jacks is that they require pallets to transport goods. The amount of goods that a pallet jack is able to transport at one go is limited by the capacity of the pallet utilised.

There are two kinds of Pallet Jacks in general, Manual and the Electrically Powered.

1. Manual Pallet Jack

(As the name of this equipment has it, the goods have to be manually lifted by pushing the handle of the Pallet Jack in a pumping motion. Movement of goods is also manual, the handler will have to pull or push the Pallet Jack to shift the goods.)

2. Powered Pallet Jack

(A Powered Pallet Jack eliminates manual effort - lifting and moving of goods can be done using its functions. However, costs will increase in terms of fuel costs or electrical battery costs. The cost of purchase for such an equipment could also be higher.)
